The Furlong

Our City Centre Skeldergate 1 bed apartment or The Furlong is so named as it is located only a 'furlong' from the pedestrianised area of York City Centre.  York has a racing heritage and a furlong is a racing term for a distance of only 220yards.

Living Area
The large living area has french doors that open onto a juliet balcony overlooking Skeldergate.  “Skeldergate” comes from a Viking word “skjaldari” meaning “Street of the Sheildmakers”. The accommodation has leather and oak furniture, a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player and iPod docking station.  A small selection of DVD’s, CD’s, board games and guide books are also available to you during your stay. 

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances to a high standard with everything you would expect to find in a luxury serviced apartment in York.  Appliances include a fridge freezer, an oven, a hob with extract fan over, washing machine and dishwasher.  Crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
The oak dining table can seat 4 people comfortably.

Bedroom
Kingsize bedroom is equipped with, a clock radio, trouser press, hair dryer and plenty of storage space.

Bathroom
The white tiled bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail as well as a well lit vanity area.  Complimentary toiletries and facial tissues are provided for your arrival along with large bath towels.

Externally
There is a large quiet and secure landscaped communal garden with seating where you can spend quality time reading a book after a busy day exploring the city.  Secure bicycle storage facilities are also available.
